Sept 5th - 16th - Work is even slower but we are COUNTING OUR BLESSINGS!

Well things are definitely moving at a slower pace since my last post.  However, that doesn't mean that things have been calm or moving as planned.  For those who haven't heard already Rocky suffered a heart attack August 31st, BUT HE IS DOING GREAT....THANK GOD!  His doctor has released him to do light work and drive, but no heavy lifting or overdoing anything. Sandy is now the health/safety monitor to be sure he follows the doctors instructions.  So my visit to San Diego was extremely short, approximately one hour in the airport and than jumped on the first flight back to NOLA. Rock was extremely lucky and we feel very blessed and extremely thankful.

Not much happening with Rocky being out, than our trim/mill work contractors were all down with either the flu or some bug going around.  It feels like the domino effect!  However, I have attached a few updated pictures showing a little progress.  As far as the move in date.....we're not saying anymore, it just seems to be a moving target.  So we're just going with the flow.

Backsplash over stove finished

The problem cabinet finally arrived and installed

Corbels installed under permanent island/bar.

Sink backsplash finised.

Bonus room stair skirting and handrail up.  Treads and risers scheduled
to be done this coming week. (Praying no other delays develop!)

Some grating work at the property entrance to cover the temporary construction
driveway and build up the original driveway a bit.

Grating around the house for another parish inspection.

Entry door installed, still needs to be trimmed out and handle put on.
