About 18 months ago Rocky and I bought property in Covington, the area is called Bleu Lake Hills Estates and the development began in the mid 1980's. We were able to purchase the first three parcels (9 acres) at the very beginning of the subdivison which sits approximately 150 ft.> above sea level. This area consist of approximately 127 home sites averaging 3 acre per site.

Over the last few months we've been working feverishly finalizing the house plans and started clearing a few trees that were in bad shape. Also, did lots of trimming on the remaining Oak trees that line the drive way. Unfortunately, a few trees were lost during Katrina and never replaced.

February 17, 2011 - Grating and foundation form setting work began.
March 3, 2011 - House slab poured
Bass Concrete with the first loads of cement.
